I Love the Skin I’m In

I love the skin I’m In

Blessed God made me such a beautiful blend

Wonderfully and fearfully blended

To make me special and unique were his intentions

I love the skin I’m in

Where browns, blacks, pinks, and whites

Meet colorfully in an intersection

Perfect is my complexion

So if you ask me

I love the skin I’m in

I love who I am and what it represents

No need for you to label my pigment

See me from beginning to end

Represent the skin I’m in.
