“I thought he was way out of my league”

My hubby David and I met working at Walmart. I thought he was super hot and way out of my league. But I went out of my way every day to walk by him in the house-ware department where he was working, to say hi.

He was a metal head who played the guitar, and I’m a metal head who plays the drums. PERFECT! We hit it off so well. He instantly became my best friend in the world. We’ve been married 8 years now. We jam out together and make music together. We even work together overnight at an industrial bread factory. We have the exact same schedule and still can’t get enough of each other.

Our conversations are the best and we read each other’s minds to the tee. This man led me to God. And my saviour Jesus. We repented together, we got baptised in the open water together. And our marriage has been a fairy-tale ever since.

To this day he says “I’m the coolest girl ever and I can’t believe I’m his wife!” I’m like ‘are you kidding me?! I can’t believe your my husband!
